# Geoffrey

Geoffrey rents disk space with an API key, accepts uploads over HTTP, and serves public downloads for the lease. The client is `goff`. The server is `geoffrey-server`.

The server's `GET /docs` page is the Scalar reference for the live HTTP API. This site is the product documentation.

## For an agent

1. Run `goff --version`.
2. Fetch `/llms.txt`.
3. Compare each page's `since` with that version, and skip a feature that is newer.
4. When upgrading, apply each `### Site impact` subsection for versions after the installed one, in order. `### Site impact` says what an existing `goff` install or `geoffrey-server` deployment must change.
